Welcome to Lubiri Secondary School

Lubiri Secondary School is a model school for yesterday, today and tomorrow, this is reflected in our UNEB results for both O' and A' level. We have always maintained as an academic powerhouse with our staff members doing a commendable job to teach and nurture our students.

Lubiri Secondary School is located in Mengo, along Wakaliga Road. The School founded in 1956 in Nabagereka Primary School inside the Kabaka's Palace. It started as a separate school but not as a promotion of Nabagereka Primary School, hence it was named Lubiri Secondary School. It was started with a two-fold purpose:

1. To provide high quality education, through innovation, positive influence, team-work and self discipline; guided by the principles of professionalism, commitment and excellence.

2. To be a World-Class centre of Academic, Spiritual and Moral Excellence.

Our theme for 2026, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and be constant in prayer,” calls us to remain steadfast in faith, patient in challenges, and focused on our purpose.

At Lubiri Secondary School, we believe education goes beyond academics.
